Thanks for the help Auburn. It is now showing NAT Open;
One problem that I did not anticipate: My modem was configured as a modem/router (1). I had to put the 2nd router in the DMZ of the modem/router (1), and port forwarded the 2nd router to PS3.
Hope this is helpful information if anyone has a similar problem.
