Forum Post Backgrounds

Why do some forum posts have black backgrounds and others have grey backgrounds? I would like to have a grey background so my Avatar will be seen, but I can't figure out any rhyme or reason why my background is black. TIA

This is the difference in the black and grey backgrounds. In this thread, both mine and your backgrounds are currently black.

Ah didn't see it. That's probably why it's doing that. Because I just looked in the same exact location in the picture and it was fine for me.

It's gray on mine, your avatar is able to be seen on mine.

I'd only assume its a hovercraft, the shit that goes over the water, I forget the official name of them. Like in The waterboy. Think there was one in there.

Lol Jon. No it's not a hovercraft but a Microlight. I flew over the countryside and beachfront in it when I was in South Africa. I don't think it's very popular over here at all, but probably only around areas close to the beach and possibly Florida.
